DOT Urine Specimen Collector Training
Are you interested in becoming certified as a DOT specimen collector? The first step is to complete our DOT urine collector’s course. Our DOT Collector Course is in accordance with the regulations set by the US Department of Transportation for collectors. All our trainers at Medico are NDASA certified with advanced training in DOT urine collections.
This comprehensive course aligns with the US Department of Transportation’s regulations for collectors and includes:
- 16 hours of training
- Adherence to 49 CFR Part 40 procedures
- Basic and proficiency training
- Guidelines on maintaining site security and integrity
- Mock collections as per DOT requirements

In addition to drug testing, you will also gain knowledge in:
- Gender Reveals
- DNA testing
- Breath and alcohol testing
- Complete weight loss program
- Paramedical exams
- Health insurance procedures
- Clia waiver information
- Medicare application process
- List of vendors and labs for contracting
- Step-by-step lab setup training

Please remember to wear scrubs and closed-toe shoes to class and come prepared to absorb all the valuable information.

Class Schedule:
2 DAY TRAINING
9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Please note that the class may conclude earlier or later based on your progress throughout the day.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion for all services trained on, including a certificate from the National Drug and Alcohol Screening Association.

A final test will be administered after the second day of class, and a passing grade of 75% or higher is required to successfully complete the course.
